“And the day came when the risk to remain in a tight bud
was more painful that the risk it took to blossom.”

About Therapy

Therapy is an opportunity to improve your life in many impactful and valuable ways. It is a process that focuses on understanding yourself and your life from new perspectives. As your self-awareness increases, you will be more able to shift your thoughts, feelings and actions, in order to get more of what you want and need out of life.

Our sessions together, will be tailored to meet your specific needs, working at a pace that is comfortable to you. Working collaboratively, we will focus on your strengths, not just your deficits and problems. I will help you tap into your own unique potential and discover more of who you are and the person that you want to become. Together, we will explore what is in your way and find resolution to issues that hold you back, so that you can live more authentically, in the present moment with more joy, satisfaction and ease.

About Me

I have had the privilege of working with children, families, adults and communities in a variety of settings for the last 20 years. Both my professional and personal experiences have demonstrated to me how incredibly resilient people are. In my own life, I have overcome many obstacles and have faced challenging circumstances, where I had to build upon my own internal resources to persevere. I believe that all challenges can be opportunities for personal growth and empowerment and I work with my clients from that point of view.

I am a ‘walk the talk’ kind of therapist and I am continually striving to evolve and become a better version of myself.

I am a deep thinker, an attentive listener and a direct communicator. I love to travel, be in nature and spend quality time with my friends and family. I truly love the work that I do and feel honored to help facilitate others on their journey towards becoming their best selves.

What My Clients Say:

“Through empathy and caring and with compassion, wisdom, and skill, Nina has helped me move through one of the most challenging periods of my life. She provides a safe, calming environment that has enabled me to find my own best way in my own time. I looked forward to our sessions and knew that I would leave feeling more relaxed, more grounded, and better prepared to face life’s challenges.”

“I have worked with Nina on and off over the course of a few years. She has an incredible ability to be compassionate and non judgmental while holding me accountable. This combination allows me to feel comfortable expressing whatever is on my mind, yet motivated to understand and tackle the challenges I am facing. I whole heartedly recommend working with her.”

“When I started seeing Nina I was very depressed and feeling paralyzed in many areas of my life. Nina was a lifesaver. I had been in therapy at different times in my life but up until now I did not have much success with talk therapy. Nina is an extremely compassionate and warm person and her sincere desire to help people shines through in every session. She is always 100% present and exceptionally insightful. She has a very holistic approach and focuses on the experiential rather than only looking at a client’s past which I personally found very helpful and has allowed me see my own patterns of behavior that aren’t working for me anymore. I am in a much better place in my life and on the right path to a much more fulfilled life and I know a lot of my success is because Nina is such a wonderful therapist. Thank you Nina!! ”

“Working with Nina was time well spent. Her kind and nonjudgmental nature enabled me to feel comfortable to be myself, and speak whatever was on my mind. I highly recommend Nina. She’s a wonderful therapist!”
